Dress Code

ππ©³πDress Code Reminder:ππ©³
πππIf buying school clothes, a reminder of the Dress Code may be helpful:
πThe principal’s measuring tool for length of shorts or skirts is mid-thigh, arms down to the side, length at or below the student’s middle finger all the way around.
ππ©³πNo holes showing skin, above the student’s middle finger on pants, shorts, or skirts.
πIf wearing dresses or wide shorts, consider putting a thin cool pair of shorts or spandex under the dress, because the kiddos love to climb the slide and monkey bars at recess. Consider, when they sit on the monkey bars or climb, will undergarments be showing?
ππTights, leggings, or other thin, form fitting pants shall have a covering over them that meets the mid-thigh length below the student’s middle finger all the way around guidance.
πππAll undergarments should be covered. Shirts should cover midriff and cleavage. No sagging pants.
πππShirts perferrably, with sleeves, this prevents sun burning and if the shirt has holes or is see through, an undershirt should to be worn.
π§’ππ§’ππ§’All Logos need to be appropriate. No hats or caps.
πππShoes that students can play hard in during kickball, football, and climbing on the playground. No rolling, wheeled shoes or house shoes.
π πK-2 grade students you may want to consider a shoe without laces.
πβΎοΈππ3-6 grade students have PE before 11:30. The dew is still on the grass. You may want to purchase an inexpensive pair of tennis shoes and an inexpensive bag to put them in for PE. These could be worn for PE instead of student’s good shoes.
πTIP: π€Add stick deodorant to your student’s school supply list or back to school shoppingπ€
β(No spray deodorant, please, due to allergies of students and staff in the building)
π Suggested for all ages, even as young as 3rd grade.
π Students can keep their deodorant in their backpack or locker.
π After a hard hot recess, Your student’s Teacher and Classmates will LOVE you!♥οΈ
π€π€Hope this helps during shopping for school clothes!
πHope you are having a GREAT Summer! Continue to Make Memories, Be Safe, and I’ll see you in August!
